Always remember:

We will never ask you to verify your account or update your contact info through links. You may only do so via our Contact Center, our BDO branches, or through BDO Online Banking.
We don't include links in our official emails and text messages. If you receive one asking you to click a link or a button, it's a scam.
We will never ask for your username and password. Never share these with anyone.
We will never ask for your credit card number, expiry date, and CVV. Keep your credit card details private.
We will never ask you to share your One-Time PIN (OTP). Anyone who asks you for your OTP is a scammer.
Our official social media accounts have a 'verified' symbol. Do not communicate with any unofficial BDO social media accounts.

Outsmart scammers by being extra vigilant. Double-check the text messages and emails you receive, and make sure these are from official BDO senders!

Protect your personal info

Be mindful of where you share your personal information such as your email address and contact number. Avoid oversharing on social media.
Destroy documents that contain important information such as bank statements, transaction receipts, and even the shipping labels of your packages before disposing.
Keep important documents such as your passport, birth certificate, and IDs in a secure place.
Update your contact details regularly for easier communication with the bank on your account, transfers, and purchases.
