Non-BDO customers can get started on BDO Pay with a BDO Pay account. It's the easiest account to get you started with BDO, requiring no initial deposit or maintaining balance, with the application done completely online.
Users can expect an overall enhanced experience and better performance with the new BDO Pay app. We've retained its familiar look and feel while making subtle improvements for a more refined experience. We’ve also added a few new features that we think users will find useful.
In the new app, users can now do the following:
- Scan and process QR Ph codes
- Nominate a receiving account
- See all their transactions (even those made outside of the app i.e., branch, website, etc.)
- View their credit card points, and convert or redeem them through a link
- See their remaining credit card limit
- View all Received and Sent requests under Request Money
- Save an account or contact as Favorite (Send Money)
- Save a biller as Favorite (Pay Bills)
The old app will no longer be searchable on both Google Play and App Store by the time the new app is launched. Only the new app will be available for download by new users.
For those who still have both the new and old app on their mobile phones, simply check the app icons. The old version features the BDO Pay logo on a plain blue background, while the new version has light blue cards on the lower right corner.
After downloading the new BDO Pay app, please delete the old app.
