Existing active Principal and Elite Supplementary Cardholders of the following BDO Credit Card products are qualified to apply for a Virtual Card. 
  • BDO Mastercard Credit Cards (except Bench Mastercard and HOPE Mastercard)
  • BDO Visa Credit Cards
  • American Express Credit Cards (except American Express International Dollar Cards)

You can apply for a Virtual Card in two ways: 
  1. Via BDO Online - Login to your BDO Online account  
    • Option 1: Select the BDO Credit Card you want to link to a Virtual Card then complete your application. 

    • Option 2: Select More > Service Requests>  Credit Cards Services> Get a Virtual Card, then complete your application.     
       
  2. Call BDO Contact Center at (+632) 8888-0000

Yes, your Virtual Card is linked to your Principal Card. It is treated like a supplementary card. All transactions using Virtual Card will appear on the same Statement of Account of the Principal Card. 
 

Your Virtual Card has the same validity as your Principal Card. Renewal is automatic as long as your account status is active and current. 
 

Your Virtual Card’s currency follows the currency of your Principal Card.
 

No, you cannot use your Virtual Card to make in-store purchases. 
 

Yes, your Virtual Card can earn Peso Points or Cashback with the same reward value as your Primary Card. 
 

Points earned are consolidated with the rewards points balance of your Principal Card.
Cashback earned is credited to Basic Card member and reflected on the next Statement of Account. 

Your Virtual Card has a pre-assigned sub-limit shared with your Principal Credit Limit. Should you wish to adjust your sub-limit (higher, lower or equivalent to Principal Card Credit Limit), please call the BDO Contact Center at (+632) 8888-0000.
