As part of its continuing commitment to financial education and fraud prevention, BDO Foundation and BDO Fraud Management Unit (FMU) partnered to conduct a Scam Awareness Session for the senior citizens of the Bel-Air, Makati community.

The initiative comes at a crucial time following reports of the presence of IMSI catchers in the Bel-Air area. These illegal devices are used to intercept mobile communications and may be exploited by fraudsters to facilitate scams.
