What do I need to insure my Pet
Insurable Pets
- Dogs and Cats (all breeds and mixed breeds)
- 3 months to 6 years old
Requirements
- Pet book (with vet’s information) indicating the updated vaccination based on pet’s age (Optional but needed in the event of claim)
- Upload at least 3 pet’s photo poses (front, back, left, right, sphinx)
- Veterinarian name and contact information
Exclusions
- Dogs and cats used for commercial (i.e. breeding) and security purposes (i.e. sniff dogs)
Vaccination Requirements:
- Dog
- DHLPPi multivalent vaccine (5-in-1 for Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza)
- Every year (per law): Rabies vaccine
- Every 1-3 years: Multivalent vaccine
- Cat
- Multivalent vaccine (3-in-1 for Feline Panleukopenia, Herpesvirus, and Calicivirus), Rabies vaccine
- At 12-24 weeks: DHLPPi (1-3 years)
- At 12-24 weeks: Feline Luekemia (FeLV), Chlamydiphila
- Every year (per law): Rabies vaccine
- Every 1-3 years: DHLPPi
