If I lock my card, can I still use my account for online, mobile and phone banking transactions with BDO?
You can continue to transact with BDO Online, Mobile, and Phone banking using your account. Locking your Debit Card will only prevent card-based transactions. Thus, you can continue to pay bills, send money, reload mobile phone and cash card, and perform other transactions via BDO Online, Mobile, Phone Banking.

Is there a limit on the number of times I can lock / unlock my Debit Cards?
No. You may lock / unlock your card anytime, anywhere, at your convenience.

Can I also lock/unlock my Credit Card and Cash Card using this new feature?
We are working on making this feature available for all BDO Cards, but as of this moment, lock/unlock is available to BDO Debit Cards only.

What are PRE-DEFINED LIMITS?

These are pre-set transaction limit amounts that you can choose from via a dropdown list.

What does DAILY LIMIT mean?

It is the maximum amount that can be used for a specific transaction type per day.

What happens after I set my limit?

The limit you set for your BDO Debit Card will automatically be updated real-time. You may transact (withdraw or purchase) until you reach your set limit, but the allowable transaction/s will still be dependent on your account's available balance.

Is my ATM limit separate from my Purchase limits?

Yes, but the ATM limit and Purchase limits you set will still be dependent on your account's available balance.  If you withdraw up to your daily ATM limit, you can still use your BDO Debit Card's remaining balance for PIN based or No PIN Purchases, and vice versa. But if your account does not have enough available balance, you will not be able to transact even if your daily transaction limit is higher. Available balance supersedes your daily limit.

Is there a limit on the number of times I can change the transaction limits of my BDO Debit Card?

No. You may change the transaction limits anytime and anywhere, at your convenience.

Is there an expiry date for the transaction limits I have set?

No. The transaction limit you have set will not expire.

What does changing the transaction limit for No PIN Purchase mean?

The transaction limit set for No PIN Purchase will automatically correspond to your BDO Debit Card's signature purchase and e-commerce limit.
