2019 World Elite Mastercard Family Raffle Program
Promo Period: June 1 to July 31, 2019
Qualified Card: BDO World Elite Mastercard


Spend at least P500,000 using your BDO World Elite Mastercard for a chance to win a family vacation anywhere in the world.


Program Mechanics:

  1. The 2019 World Elite Mastercard Family Raffle Program will run from June 1 to July 31, 2019 (“Promo Period”).

  2. One (1) Cardholder will win four (4) round-trip Business Class tickets to any destination in the world via Cathay Pacific.

  3. The Promo is open to BDO World Elite Mastercard Cardholders:

    • whose accounts are active and current (i.e. no past due in both Peso and Dollar Accounts)

    • who will receive the Promo announcement via Direct Mailer, SMS and/or Electronic Direct Mailer*

  1. To qualify, Cardholder must use his/her Qualified Card within the Promo Period and with posted Peso and Dollar transactions, as follows:

    1. RETAIL purchases (local/international/online)

    2. INSTALLMENT purchases (principal amount only)

    3. Minimum amount per transaction must be P20,000 or US$400.

    4. The cumulative qualified spend within the promo period must be at least P500,000 to earn five (5) raffle entries. Succeeding increments of P100,000 will earn one (1) additional raffle entry.

  2. Exclusions:

    1. Local and International Cash Advances made via ATM or over-the-counter.

    2. Purchases from gasoline / service stations.

    3. Any type of Bills Payment: Auto-charge, Charge-on-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments, etc.

    4. Transactions from Casino or from merchants engaged in Gambling.

    5. Transactions from stock trading, forex trading, financial trading services, remittance and the like.

    6. BDO Internal Installment Programs such as Balance Transfer, EasyPay Cash and Cash-It-Easy.

  3. Purchases must come from one (1) Qualified Card only. A Principal Card is treated separately from the Supplementary Card. In computing for the total qualified Spend Amount, transactions of the Principal Card cannot be combined with the transactions of the Supplementary Card.

  4. Winner will be drawn through an electronic raffle system on August 14, 2019 at the BDO Cards Marketing office (23rd floor, BDO Corporate Center Ortigas, 12 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City), in the presence of a DTI representative. Winning Cardholder will be notified via callout and registered mail by August 22, 2019.


How to Claim:

Winner must present the following through their Relationship Manager on or before October 22, 2019:

  1. Copy of BDO World Elite Mastercard Credit Card

  2. Valid photo ID with signature

  3. Valid Passport

  4. Prize Acknowledgment Form

Alternatively, winner can opt to visit the BDO CLG-Marketing Office (23rd Floor, BDO Corporate Center Ortigas, 12 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City) to present documents.


General Terms and Conditions:

  1. Prize is tax-free and transferable but not convertible to cash, non-refundable, not available for cash purchase and not for resale.

  2. In the event that the winning Cardholder remains unreachable and/or failed to comply by October 22, 2019 (or 60 days from receipt of notification), BDO shall then award the prize to the next winner. In such case, the new winner will be given time to complete the requirements until October 31, 2019.

  3. The winning BDO World Elite Mastercard Cardholder must allow the use of his name or photo in Marketing Communication materials related to the promo, if deemed necessary.

  4. Cancellation of qualified purchase and Fraudulent transaction/s.
    If the transaction is cancelled/reversed or found to be invalid or fraudulent at a later date, BDO will charge back the Prize or directly collect cost from the Cardholder. The Cardholder shall also be charged the cost of the airline ticket in the event that the Cardholder cancels the availment.

  5. By participating in the Promo, Cardholder agrees to maintain his/her BDO credit card account updated (without incurring past due/delinquency) within the Promo Period and at the time of travel. Cardholder further acknowledges that should he/she fail to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions and Mechanics of the Promo, he/she will not be eligible to join the raffle.

  6. All employees of BDO and its subsidiaries, their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.

  7. In case of dispute but not limited to the Cardholder's eligibility, coverage of dates and fulfillment, BDO's decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder's eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.

  8. In case of any question about any of the provisions of this Promotion, the interpretation of BDO shall prevail, with the concurrence of DTI.

  9. Terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips, and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo.


Airline Tickets are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

  1. Travel period is until April 30, 2020.

  2. The four (4) Business Class Tickets entitlement should be availed at the same time with the same destination and travel period.

  3. The maximum ticket value per passenger is US$5,000 inclusive of taxes, fees and other applicable surcharges. Anything in excess will be for the account of the winning Cardholder and will be charged to his/her BDO World Elite Mastercard.

  4. Tickets are redeemable directly at Cathay Pacific via e-mail to, using email subject “BDO WEM Family Raffle Promo 2019”. Upon completion of booking, tickets will be emailed to Cardholder’s registered email address.

  5. Tickets are valid for a minimum of three (3) days and a maximum of three (3) months stay.

  6. In case the winner decides to transfer the prize, the winning Cardholder must submit a signed letter indicating the complete name of the person to whom the prize shall be transferred. Transferee is also obliged to submit the same documents required.

  7. Once issued, tickets can no longer be transferred nor cancelled. Any applicable fees or penalties will be shouldered by the Cardholder.

  8. The complimentary flight is subject to the standard booking procedures and Terms and Conditions of the airline partner. Destinations will depend on Cathay Pacific’s available global network coverage.
