Promo Mechanics

  1. The Weekend Flash Rebate Promo (“Promo”) will run on the following dates (“Promo Period”):
    Weekend 1: January 9 to 12, 2020
    Weekend 2: January 17 to 19, 2020
    Weekend 3: January 24 to 26, 2020

  2. The Promo is open to Cardholders of BDO Gold Mastercard (“Qualified Card”):

    1. whose accounts are active and current (i.e. no past due in both Peso and Dollar Accounts)

    2. who received the Promo announcement and Promo ID through Viber/SMS*
      *Cardholder's contact information must be kept updated to continue receiving card promotions and advisories. Update contact details here or call the BDO Customer Contact Center at (02) 86318000.

  3. To qualify for the Rebate, Cardholder must:

    1. Join by using the Promo ID sent by BDO via Viber/SMS from January 8 to 27, 2020;

    2. Use Qualified Card within the Promo Period and have posted transactions as follows:

      1. OVERSEAS retail purchase/s;

      2. Domestic and/or International ONLINE purchase/s;

      3. INSTALLMENT purchase/s;

      4. Minimum amount per transaction must be P3,000 or US$60;

      5. The cumulative qualified spend within the promo period must be at least P10,000 or US$200;

  4. Exclusions:

    1. International Cash Advances made via ATM or over-the-counter

    2. Purchases from gasoline / service stations

    3. Any type of Bills Payment: Auto-charge, Charge-on-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments, etc.

    4. Transactions from Casino or from merchants engaged in gambling or other illegal activities

    5. Transactions from stock trading, forex trading, financial trading services, remittance and the like

    6. BDO Internal Installment Programs such as Balance Transfer, EasyPay Cash and Cash-It-Easy

  5. Purchases must come from one (1) Qualified Card only. A Principal Card is treated separately from the Supplementary Card. In computing for the total qualified Spend Amount, transactions of the Principal Card cannot be combined with the transactions of the Supplementary Card.

  6. The maximum Cash Rebate entitlement per Cardholder is P10,000. Cardholder is entitled to a one-time crediting of Rebate regardless if he/she has more than one Qualified Card.

  1. Rebate for eligible Supplementary Cardholder will be credited to the Principal Cardholder's account.

  2. Cash Rebate will be credited in Peso. Where applicable, conversion rate will be fixed at P50:US$1.

 

 

How to Join

  1. Join by using the Promo ID sent by BDO via Viber/SMS from January 8 to 27, 2020.

  2. Submission of incomplete/wrong Promo ID will not be processed.

  3. Promo ID will enroll all Qualified Cards of the Cardholder in case he/she has more than one Qualified Card, whether as Principal or as Supplementary.

  4. Cardholder will be notified via SMS upon successful posting of the Cash Rebate earned on or before February 25, 2020 and will appear on the succeeding Statement of Account (SOA).

  5. Cardholder understands that by joining the Promo, purchases must not be used to redeem from other ongoing BDO promos such as but not limited to Shop. Choose. Redeem. By choosing to redeem other offers before the Rebate crediting, BDO understands that Cardholder forfeits eligibility to earn Rebate.

 

 

General Terms and Conditions

  1. Cardholder must examine their SOA for any error/s related to the Promo (e.g. rebate computation, non-awarding of rebate). All questions and issues arising from the promo will be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days from posting of the Rebate, after which the promotion is considered conclusive.

  2. Rebate is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-convertible to cash. It is treated as a credit or payment on any outstanding balance on the Cardholder's account.

  3. All BDO installment transactions are subject to bank approval. The entire installment transaction amount shall be deducted from the Cardholder’s available credit limit.

  4. BDO may, at its sole and absolute option, accommodate Cardholder’s request to accelerate the charging of the full amount of the remaining unbilled monthly amortization/s on the installment transactions, provided that the Cardholder’s total outstanding balance due for the pertinent monthly billing cycle is paid in full. Further, a corresponding Installment Processing fee of 5% of the total remaining balance or P300, whichever is higher, will be charged to the Cardholder’s pertinent BDO Credit Card. After BDO has approved the Cardholder’s request to charge the full amount of the remaining unbilled monthly amortizations on the installment transaction, the total accelerated amount due and the corresponding Installment Processing Fee shall form part of the total outstanding amount due for the pertinent monthly billing cycle of the BDO Credit Card and must be paid in full.

  5. Double Redemption, Cancellation of qualified purchase and Fraudulent transaction/s.
    The Rebate cannot be redeemed in conjunction with other promotional offers of BDO.  A Cardholder’s purchase that has been used to redeem the Rebate may no longer be used to avail of another BDO Promo such as but not limited to (1) Shop. Choose. Redeem. (2) Other Rebate Promos and the like or vice versa. If found to have double/multiple redemptions, BDO reserves the right to chargeback the full cost of the Rebate to the corresponding account, at BDO’s discretion.

    Similarly, if the transaction is cancelled/reversed or found to be invalid or fraudulent at a later date, BDO will chargeback the Rebate credited to his/her Card or directly collect cost from the Cardholder.

  6. Corporate Cards are not eligible to participate in the promo.

  7. By participating in the Promo, Cardholder agrees to maintain his/her BDO credit card account updated (without incurring past due/delinquency) within the Promo Period and at the time of Rebate crediting. Cardholder further acknowledges that should he/she fail to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions and Mechanics of the Promo, he/she will not be eligible to avail of the Rebate.

  8. In case of dispute but not limited to the Cardholder's eligibility, coverage of dates and fulfillment, BDO's decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder's eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.

  9. In case of any questions about any of the provisions of this Promotion, the interpretation of BDO shall prevail, with the concurrence of DTI.

  10. Terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips, and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo.
