Promo Mechanics

  1. The Promo is open to all active Principal and Supplementary BDO Visa Credit Cardholders (except Corporate Cards).

  2. To participate in the Promo:

    1. The Cardholder must enroll to the Promo using the Promo ID sent by BDO through Viber message, SMS or email. Principal and Supplementary Cardholders must enroll separately for their respective cards, and ensure that accurate information is provided.

      Note: Cardholders only need to enroll once. Cardholders who enroll within any of the prescribed Enrollment Periods will automatically be enrolled in succeeding special occasions.

      Example: If Cardholder used his/her BDO Visa Credit Card on February 14, 2021 (Valentine's weekend) and enrolls only on May 9, 2021(Mother's Day weekend), the transaction during the Valentine's weekend which was made prior to the enrollment will NOT be included in the cash back computation.

  1. The Cardholder must use his/her qualified BDO Visa Credit Card at any restaurant/dining establishment (local or overseas) during the Promo Period for a minimum single-receipt or cumulative spend of P4,000 or USD84. For cumulative spend, minimum amount per dining transaction must be P2,000 or USD42.

  2. Transactions made at point-of-sale (dine-in/take-out) and online ordered via food delivery apps such as Foodpanda, Central Delivery, fastfood apps, etc. are eligible for the Promo. Supporting documents may be requested (e.g. transaction/official receipt, email confirmation, etc.) when there is a need to establish that a transaction is classified under the dining category.

  3. Food delivery orders made through Grab/Grab Food are excluded from the Promo.

  1. The maximum cash back credit per promo weekend is P1,000 for every BDO Visa Credit Card enrolled to the Promo. The cash back amount will be credited in Philippine Peso regardless if the account is enrolled in the Dual Currency feature.

  2. The transaction/s included in this Promo cannot be used to redeem in any other ongoing BDO Credit Card Promo (e.g. Spend Anywhere Cash Back, other Rebate and Points Multiplier Promos, etc.) and is subject to Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Cards.

 

 

Crediting of Dining Cash Back

  1. The Cardholder's account must be active and without any past due obligation from the start of the Promo until the scheduled awarding of the cash back amount. For cards with dual currency, delinquency of one currency affects the other and will no longer be qualified for the Promo.

  2. The cash back earned by the Principal and/or Supplementary Cardholder will be credited on the succeeding month after each promo weekend. The cash back credit will appear on the Principal Cardholder's Statement of Account with the transaction description: “P1000 Dining Cash Back on <Occasion>

  3. An SMS notification for the cash back earned will be sent to the mobile number registered in BDO's system. The Principal and Supplementary Cardholder will receive separate SMS notifications.

  4. Cardholders must ensure that their registered mobile number with BDO is updated and accurate. BDO will not be responsible for non-receipt of SMS notification due to incorrect or outdated contact details.

 

 

General Terms and Conditions

  1. Cardholders must examine their Statement of Account for any errors related to the Promo (e.g. cash back computation, non-awarding of cash back amount). All questions and issues arising from the promo will only be accepted, within sixty (60) calendar days from posting of the cash back amount for each special occasion, after which the Promotion is considered conclusive.

  2. Cash back awarded is non-transferable and nonconvertible to cash. However, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases of any outstanding balance on the Card.

  3. BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the cash back credits previously posted if the qualifying spend is disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or if there is erroneous posting of the cash back amount, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another ongoing BDO Credit Card Promo.

  4. BDO has the sole discretion to determine whether a transaction is classified as a Dining transaction. BDO is dependent on the Merchant Category Classifications assigned by its Acquiring Bank on each merchant establishment to be able to identify qualified transactions.

  5. In case of disputes related to this Promotion, BDO's decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder's eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by the BDO with concurrence of DTI.
