Promo Mechanics:

  1. Promo is extended until December 31, 2018.
     
  2. The promo is open to all active Principal BDO Elite and Gold Mastercard, Visa, JCB, UnionPay, Diners Club Premier Credit Cardholders and BDO-issued American Express Card members.
     
  3. Provision of multiple entry Visa to be issued when traveling during the travel period with exemption of financial requirements (Bank Certificate and ITR) to the eligible BDO Credit Cardholders below:

    3 Years
  • Gold Visa Credit Card
  • Gold Mastercard Credit Card
  • Gold UnionPay Credit Card
  • Gold JCB Credit Card

3-5 Years

  • Platinum JCB Credit Card
  • Platinum Visa Credit Card
  • Titanium or Platinum and World Elite Mastercard Credit Card
  • Gold, Platinum, Cathay Pacific and American Express Charge Cards issued by BDO
  • Diamond UnionPay Credit Card
  • Diners Club Premiere
  1. Cardholders must present the following to the accredited travel agencies (click here to see list):
    1. Eligible BDO Credit Card and the original hard copy of recent Monthly Billing Statement (MBS) upon application within the promo period OR
    2. Eligible BDO Credit Card, recent electronic Monthly Billing Statement (MBS) and the original copy of Certification from BDO.Certification may be requested from the BDO Customer Contact Center
       
  2. Issuance of any Visa shall be at the sole discretion of the Korean Embassy.
     
  3. Korean Embassy represents and warrants to BDO that all the necessary approval, consent and waiver relating to the personal information of the availing BDO Credit Cardholder to be disclosed to BDO for the issuance of any Visa have been validly and legally obtained.
     
  4. BDO shall not be held responsible for the conduct or misconduct of any BDO Credit Cardholder before, during and after the issuance or non-issuance of any Visa.  
     
  5. BDO does not in any way guarantee the issuance of any Visa, which issuance shall be left at the sole discretion of the Korean Embassy. By availing the BDO Credit Cardholder exclusive privilege, BDO Credit Cardholder acknowledges that for purposes of issuance of any Visa, certain credit account information may be disclosed to Korean Embassy and as such, hereby expressly consents to the disclosure and waives the right to confidentiality of credit account information for the particular purpose.
     
  6. BDO shall not be in any way be held responsible for the issuance or non issuance of any Visa to BDO Credit Cardholders by the Korean Embassy.
     
  7. Furthermore, BDO Credit Cardholder agrees to indemnify and hold BDO Unibank Inc., its officers, directors, stockholders, employees, agents, assigns as well as its parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates free and harmless from any and all actions, claims, demands and particularly on account of all known, unknown and unanticipated damages and/or losses arising out of and as a consequence of the issuance or non issuance of any Visa.
     
  8. Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards likewise apply.
     
  9. Korean Embassy and BDO shall keep and maintain the confidentiality of any and all information and data which may be provided to or come into possession of both parties and its personnel pursuant to this Agreement such as without limitation, information pertaining to the Cardholders and Cardmembers and their BDO Credit Cards/American Express Cards, including the terms of this Agreement. Korean Embassy and BDO shall not disclose the same to any third person, reproduce, or otherwise dispose or transfer the same, without the prior written consent of the other party. Korean Embassy and BDO shall cause its employees, agents and representatives concerned to similarly comply with confidentiality undertaking. This obligation shall be continuing and shall survive the termination of this partnership.
     
  10. BDO and Korean Embassy acknowledge that the termination or suspension of the Promo shall be subject to the rules and regulations of DTI.
