Promo Mechanics:

  1. The Promotion is open to all active BDO Visa Classic, Gold and Platinum Principal or Supplementary Credit Cardholders (except Corporate Cards) who will join the promo within the enrollment period and use their Card to purchase ONLINE on the following dates:

  1. To earn the Cash Rebate, the Cardholder must:

    1. Enroll online through the promo web page during the enrollment period and indicate Cardholder’s Promo ID here.

Cardholders only need to enroll once. Cardholders who enroll within any of the prescribed Enrollment Periods will automatically be included in the succeeding promo dates. However, if for example, the Cardholder uses his/her Credit Card on June 21, 2020 (Father’s Day) and enrolls only on August 31, 2020 (National Heroes Day), the transactions during Father’s Day which was made prior to the enrollment will NOT be included in the Visa Online Rebate computation.

Complete and accurate information must be provided. Otherwise, incomplete, insufficient or wrong information will invalidate the enrollment and will not be processed.

Note that the Principal or Supplementary Cardholder must separately enroll their respective accounts. Enrollment of the Principal/Supplementary Cardholder automatically enrolls its corresponding Virtual Card if any.

  1. Spend online for at least P5,000 or USD100 (minimum single transaction) using their BDO Visa Classic, Gold or Platinum Credit Card during the Promo Period

  1. Purchases must come from one BDO Visa Credit Card only. Principal Cardholders cannot combine purchases of his/her Supplementary Cardholder/s (if any) in computing for the total Spend Amount. However, transactions made from BDO Visa Virtual Cards are combined with the Cardholder's BDO Visa Credit Card account where it is linked.

  2. The qualified spend is based on the actual Peso or Dollar value posted on the account/billing statement.

  3. All rebates will be posted in Peso regardless if your account is enrolled in Dual Currency. For transactions made in Dollar or other currencies, the rebate will be converted based on the prevailing foreign exchange rate.

  4. All rebates, including those from the qualified purchases of the Supplementary account/s, will be posted to the Principal Cardholder's account.

  5. The maximum Cash Rebate that can be earned per card is P5,000 for each promo date. The BDO Visa Virtual Card will be sharing the rebate cap with the BDO Visa Credit Card account where it is linked.

  6. All ONLINE Peso and Dollar transactions are qualified EXCEPT for the following:

    1. Cash Advances made via ATM or over-the-counter;

    2. Any type of Bills Payment (Auto-charge, Charge-On-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments, etc.);

    3. Purchases from gasoline/service stations;

    4. Transactions from casinos or from merchants engaged in gambling;

    5. Transactions from stock trading, forex trading, financial trading services, remittance, and the like;

    6. BDO Internal Installment Programs such as Balance Transfer, Easy Pay Cash, and Cash-It-Easy;

    7. And other non-points earning transactions

  7. Cardholders will be notified via SMS upon successful processing of the Cash Rebate within 30 days after each promo date. Cardholder must ensure that the contact details with the bank are updated. BDO will not be responsible for non-receipt of notification.

  8. Cardholders must examine their Statement of Account (SOA) for any errors related to the Visa Online Rebate Promo (e.g. rebate computation, non-awarding of rebate). All questions and issues arising from the Promo will only be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days from posting of the Cash Rebate, after which the Promotion is considered conclusive. 

  9. For disputes/concerns regarding transactions made from online merchants (e.g., Cardholder may be asked to provide a proof of purchase (e.g. confirmation email from the merchant) as a supporting document.

  10. Cash Rebates awarded are nontransferable and not convertible to cash. However, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the Card.

  11. The awarded rebate will be debited back from the Cardholder’s account should the Cardholder cancel the qualifying purchase or transaction at a later date.

  12. Account status must be active and without past due obligation during the Promo Period until the awarding of rebates. For cards with dual currency, delinquency of one currency affects the other and therefore will no longer be eligible for the Promotion.

  13. BDO has the sole discretion to determine whether a transaction is classified as Online. BDO is dependent on the Merchant Category Classifications assigned by its Acquiring Bank on each merchant establishment to be able to identify qualified transactions.

  14. The BDO Visa Online Rebate Promo cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing BDO Promos (e.g. Shop. Choose. Redeem, Visa Online and Overseas Promo, BDO-sponsored rebates, etc.) and is subject to the Terms & Conditions governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards.

  15. In case of dispute but not limited to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, fulfillment, etc. BDO’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.
