Get 10% rebate when you shop online for a minimum single-receipt or cumulative spend of P15,000 using your BDO UnionPay!

  • For cumulative spend, the minimum amount per transaction must be at least P2,000.
  • A participating cardholder can earn a maximum of P10,000 rebate for every qualified BDO UnionPay Card. The rebate will be posted to the Principal Cardholder’s account on February 3 or March 22, 2021.

Promo Mechanics

  1. The promo is open to all active principal and supplementary BDO UnionPay Credit Cardholders.

  2. The Promo Period is from November 15, 2020 to February 15, 2021.

  3. To participate in the promo:

    1. The Cardholder must enroll to the promo using the Promo ID sent by BDO through Viber message, SMS, or email, until February 16, 2021. The Principal and Supplementary Cardholder must enroll to the promo separately for their respective cards, and ensure that accurate information is provided.

    2. The Cardholder must use his/her qualified BDO UnionPay Credit Card and shop ONLINE for a minimum single-receipt or cumulative spend of P15,000 from November 15, 2020 to February 15, 2021. For cumulative purchases, the minimum amount required per transaction is at least P2,000.

  4. Promo Exclusions: The following transactions are NOT qualified for this promo:

    • Any type of Bills Payment (Auto-charge, Charge-On-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments, etc.)

    • Purchases from Utilities-Gas, Electric, Water, etc.

    • Transactions from casinos or from merchants engaged in gambling;

    • Transactions from stock trading, forex trading, financial trading services, remittance, and the like

    • BDO Internal Installment Programs such as Balance Transfer, Easy Pay Cash, and Cash-It-Easy

    • All other non-earning points transactions

  5. To meet the total spend required, the Principal Cardholder cannot combine his/her purchases with the Supplementary Cardholder, and vice-versa. It is the responsibility of the Cardholder to monitor his/her qualified spend.

  6. For installment purchases, the Principal/base Amount will be included in the computation of the total spend requirement.

  7. For Cardholders enrolled in the Dual Currency feature, transactions made in US Dollar and other currencies will be converted to Philippine Peso based on USD 1 = P49. The amount will then be added to the total qualified Peso transactions to determine the total spend amount.

  8. The maximum rebate that each Cardholder can earn is up to P10,000, for every BDO UnionPay Credit Card enrolled to the promo. The rebate will be posted in Philippine Peso regardless if the account is enrolled in the Dual Currency feature.

  9. The transaction/s included in this promo, cannot be used to redeem in any other ongoing BDO Credit Card Promo (e.g. Shop.Choose.Redeem, Other Rebate and Points Multiplier Promos, etc.) and is subject to the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Cards.


Crediting of Rebate

  1. The Cardholder’s account must be active, and without any past due obligation from the start of the promo until the scheduled awarding of the rebate. For cards with dual currency, delinquency of one currency affects the other and will no longer be qualified for the promo.

  2. The rebate earned by the Principal and/or Supplementary cardholders will be credited based on the schedule below. The rebate/s will appear on the Principal Cardholder’s Statement of Account with the transaction description: “UNIONPAY ONLINE REBATE PROMO”.

Cut-off on Enrollment Crediting Schedule
Cardholders who registered on or before December 31, 2020. February 3, 2020
Cardholders who registered from January 1 to February 16, 2021. March 22, 2021

Note: The first scheduled awarding of rebate is for those cardholders who reached the maximum rebate of P10,000 only

  1. Qualified Cardholders who earned the rebate will be notified by BDO via SMS message two banking days from date of crediting of rebate. The Principal and Supplementary Cardholder will receive separate SMS notifications.

  2. The Principal or Supplementary Cardholders must ensure that their registered mobile number with BDO is updated and accurate. BDO will not be responsible for non-receipt of SMS notification due to incorrect or outdated contact details.


General Terms and Conditions

  1. Cardholders must examine their Statement of Account for any errors related to the Promo (e.g. rebate computation, non-awarding of rebate). All questions and issues arising from the promo will only be accepted, within sixty (60) calendar days from posting of the rebate or not later than May 22, 2021 after which the promotion is considered conclusive.

  2. For disputes/concerns regarding transactions made from, the Cardholder may be asked to provide a proof of purchase (e.g. confirmation email from the merchant) as a supporting document and send it to

  3. Rebates awarded are non-transferable and nonconvertible to cash. However, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases of any outstanding balance on the Card.

  4. BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the rebate previously posted if the qualifying spend is disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or if there is erroneous posting of the rebate, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another on-going BDO Credit Card promo.

  5. In case of disputes related to this promotion, BDO’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with concurrence of DTI.
