Spend Anywhere Cash Back
Promo Period: June 22 to August 22, 2020
Qualified Cards:

  • BDO Mastercard, Visa, JCB, UnionPay, and Diners Club Credit Cards

  • American Express Cards issued by BDO

Offers:

  • Earn P100 cash back for every minimum spend of P2,500 anywhere

  • Earn P500 cash back for every minimum spend of P12,500 anywhere

A maximum of P5,000 cash back will be awarded to the participating cardholder’s account. Cash Back will be posted to the qualified card used for payment.

 

Promo Mechanics:

  1. The promo is open to all active principal and supplementary Credit Cardholders of Mastercard, Visa, Unionpay, JCB, Diners Club Credit Cards and American Express Card issued by BDO (except Purchasing Cards and Installment Card). Cardholders can join the promo by enrolling within the enrollment period and spend anywhere using their BDO Credit Card.

  2. The Promo Period is from June 22 to August 22, 2020.

  3. To earn the cash back:

    • The Principal Cardholder must enroll online through the promo web page from June 22 to August 23, 2020 and indicate his/her Promo ID. Click here to enroll.

    • Principal Cardholder must provide complete and accurate information. Otherwise incomplete, insufficient or wrong information will invalidate the enrollment and will not be processed.

    • Only the Principal Cardholder is qualified to enroll to the Promo. Enrollment of the Principal Cardholder (considered as one “Account”) automatically enrolls all his/her qualified BDO Credit Card/s, his/her corresponding supplementary account/s and BDO Virtual Card, if any.

  4. BDO Credit Card with purchases made anywhere from June 22 to August 22, 2020 and meeting the minimum spend requirement entitles the cardholder to a P100/P500 cash back.

  5. Spend may come from any of the qualified BDO Credit Cards of the Principal Cardholder who enrolled in the Promo. Spend made by the Principal and Supplementary Cardholders will earn cash back for all their qualified spend. Spend made from BDO Virtual Cards is also qualified and will be considered in the computation of the total cash back to be awarded to a participating Principal Cardholder's BDO Credit Card account. The maximum amount of cash back credit that can be earned per account is P5,000 / USD 100 within the promo period. It is the responsibility of the Principal Cardholder to monitor the number of his/her qualified spend.

    Once a Principal Cardholder successfully enrolls in the promo, all his/her qualified BDO Credit Cards together with his/her Supplementary and BDO Virtual Cards will be automatically enrolled.

  6. The following transactions are qualified provided the minimum spend amount is met:

    Local Retail Transactions
    (Straight or Installment)
    Foreign Currency Purchases (qualified spend is based on the actual Peso or Dollar value posted on the account/billing statement)
    Online or Internet Transactions Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO)


    The following transactions are excluded from this promo:

    Cash advances (may be local or international) made via ATM or over the counter. Business transactions such as but not limited to (i) direct or multi-level marketing, as well as from merchants specifically engaged in wholesale and distribution (ii) payment services made to social media platforms, cloud service and software providers; transactions for business purposes or classified by BDO as non-personal purposes such as, but not limited to, payment services, mobile payment/mobile wallet transactions and online payment system  (such as but not limited to GCash, PayMaya, GrabPay, PayPal, PayMongo, Coins.ph, and the like) and (iii) professional services
    Any type of Bills Payment such as Auto Charge, Charge-on-Demand, utility or recurring bills, loan payments and the like.
    Purchases from gasoline or service stations.
    Transactions from casinos or from merchants engaged in betting or gambling. BDO Internal Installment Programs such as but not limited to Balance Transfer, EasyPay Cash, EasyPay Convert and Cash-It-Easy.
    Transactions from stock trading, foreign exchange trading, financial trading services, remittance, and the like. Any transaction used to register or redeem from other on-going BDO Credit Card Promos.

     

  7. Cash back credits will be posted in Peso. However, for USD-denominated BDO Credit Cards, the cash back will be converted to USD currency using USD 1 = P50.

  8. Cash back credits earned, including those from the qualified spend of the Supplementary Card/s, will be posted to the BDO Credit Card where the qualified spend was made.

  9. Awarding of cash back credits will follow the sequential order of the spend for both the Principal and Supplementary Card/s following the transaction date.

  10. The transaction/s of a Cardholder successfully enrolled in the 'Spend Anywhere Cash Back' Promo may no longer be used in any other on-going BDO Credit Card Promo.

  11. All cash back earned shall be posted on the card account where spend was made on or before October 15, 2020. This will appear with the transaction description “Spend Anywhere Cash Back”. Principal Cardholder must examine his/her statement of account for any errors related to the Spend Anywhere Cash Back Promo (e.g. cash back computation, non-awarding of cash back). All questions and issues arising from the Promo will only be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days from posting of the cash back or not later than December 15, 2020, after which the Promotion is considered conclusive.

  12. Cash back awarded is non-transferable and not convertible to cash. However, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the Card.

  13. BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the cash back previously posted if the qualifying spend is disputed or cancelled on a later date, if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent or if there's erroneous posting of the cash back, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another on-going BDO Credit Card promo.

  14. Account status must be active and without past due obligation during the Promo Period until the awarding of cash back credits. For cards with dual currency, delinquency of one currency affects the other and therefore will no longer be eligible for the Promotion.

  15. Splitting of a single transaction into several approvals for purposes of generating more cash back credits is prohibited.

  16. For multiple transactions generated from the same merchant, store or establishment made within the same day, only one (1) qualified transaction will be eligible for cash back per Cardholder even if he/she has more than one (1) qualified BDO Credit Card. Remaining transactions will not be eligible.

  17. In case of dispute in respect of but not limited to the Cardholder's eligibility, coverage of dates, fulfillment, etc., BDO's decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder's eligibility for the Promo or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.

  18. This Promo cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promos of BDO (e.g. Credit Card activation programs, points multiplier promos and other on-going rebate promos). This Promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Cards and American Express Cards.
