Promo Mechanics

  1. The EasyPay Balance Transfer Elite Mastercard Exclusive Promo (“Promo”) runs from January 15 to February 15, 2021 (“Promo Period”). Applications received within the Promo Period and subsequently approved are eligible for the Offer.

  2. The Promo is open to Principal Cardholders of BDO World Elite, Platinum and Titanium Mastercard Credit Cards (“Qualified Cards”) whose accounts are active and current (i.e. no past due in both Peso and Dollar Accounts).

  3. To qualify for the Promo, Cardholder must:

    1. Avail of Balance Transfer within the Promo Period;

    2. Meet the minimum installment amount of P100,000, single or cumulative from a maximum of two (2) non-BDO credit card;

    3. Charge it on 18- or 24-month installment term

  4. Cardholders are entitled to a full waiver of their 1st Monthly Amortization subject to a cap of P12,000 per Cardholder, regardless if he/she has more than one Qualified Card.

How To Avail

  1. Cardholder must register his/her Promo ID* from January 14 to February 16, 2021.
    *Please refer to the promo announcement sent via Viber/SMS and/or eDM. In case of non-receipt, Cardholder must call BDO Customer Contact Center at (02)8631-8000.

  2. Submission of incomplete/wrong Promo ID will not be processed.

  3. An SMS* notification confirming the installment amount waived will be sent to the Cardholder’s registered mobile number with the Bank on or before March 22, 2021.
    *In case of non-receipt of SMS, please call the BDO Customer Contact Center.

  4. Awarding of the Free First Monthly Amortization:

    1. Reversals/Credits will be posted on March 22, 2021 and will appear on the Cardholder’s Statement of Account with Transaction Description: FREE 1st MO AMORTIZATION CONGRATULATIONS

    2. The FREE Installment Amortization is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-convertible to cash. It is treated as a credit or payment on any outstanding balance on the Cardholder's account.

    3. Cardholders must examine their Statement of Account for any error/s related to the Promo (e.g. free amortization amount credited, non-awarding of free amortization).


EasyPay Balance Transfer Terms and Conditions

  1. The BDO EasyPay Balance Transfer (“EP BT”) Promotion is open to qualified Principal Credit Cardholders of BDO World Elite, Platinum and Titanium Mastercard Credit Card issued by BDO (“Cardholder”), who are not prohibited by applicable laws, regulations and policies from participating in and/or qualifying for this Promo, on his/her own Non-BDO Credit Card Balances. Provided that the Non-BDO Credit Card Balances are issued by a major card issuer and/or bank in the Philippines and is/are at least six months old; active and current at the time of application.

  2. The required minimum EP BT amount may come from a maximum of two (2) non-BDO credit card or personal/salary loan account balances that is/are at least six (6) months old; active and current at the time of application. The EP BT amount per non-BDO credit card or personal/salary loan account balance(s) must be at least P5,000, charged on one (1) installment term, and issued by a major card issuer and/or bank in the Philippines.

  3. The EP BT principal amount with interest will be deducted from and should be within the available credit limit.

  4. The Cardholder must continue to pay the minimum amount due on his non-BDO credit card or personal/salary loan account balance while the EP BT application is still in process.

  5. All transactions are subject to the Bank's approval and once approved shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) of EP BT and the T&Cs governing the issuance and use of the BDO Credit Cards.

  6. An Installment Availment Fee of P250 will be charged for every approved EP BT application. The Installment Availment Fee is non-refundable and will be due/payable even if Cardholder decides to pay the entire remaining balance before the end of the payment term.

  7. If approved, BDO will issue a check or make a fund transfer directly to the non-BDO card issuer/bank. The check or fund transfer amount will be equivalent to the approved EP BT amount.

  8. EP BT transactions applied thru BDO Online Banking and Customer Contact Center are subject to five (5) working days processing time.

  9. Approved EP BT applications can no longer be reversed/cancelled.

  10. Monthly installments due on the EP BT application together with monthly interest and penalty charge, if any, shall be billed to the Cardholder and shall commence on the Cardholder’s next statement date and every month thereafter until the total amount payable is paid in full. Monthly installment due on the EP BT via BDO Online Banking together with monthly interest and penalty charge (if any) will be billed to the cardholder starting on the second payment cycle after the original transaction date and every month thereafter until the total amount payable is paid in full.

  11. There may be a slight difference between the actual monthly installment amortization billed and the computed monthly installment amortization presented in the sample computation. Amounts may differ due to the rounded values.

  12. BDO may, at its sole and absolute option, accommodate Cardholder’s request to accelerate the charging of the full amount of the remaining unbilled monthly amortization/s on the EasyPay Balance Transfer installment transactions, provided that the Cardholder's total outstanding balance due for the pertinent monthly billing cycle is paid in full. Further, a corresponding Installment Processing Fee of 5% of the total remaining balance or P300, whichever is higher, will be charged to the Cardholder’s account. After BDO has approved the Cardholder's acceleration, the total accelerated amount due and the corresponding Installment Processing Fee shall form part of the total outstanding amount due for the pertinent monthly billing cycle and must be paid in full.


General Terms and Conditions

  1. All questions and issues arising from the Promo will be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days from posting of the free amortization, after which the promotion is considered conclusive.

  2. Cancellation of qualified installment and/or Fraudulent transaction/s.
    If the transaction is cancelled/reversed or found to be invalid or fraudulent at a later date, BDO will chargeback the free amortization credited to his/her Card or directly collect cost from the Cardholder.

  3. By participating in the Promo, Cardholder agrees to maintain his/her BDO credit card account in good credit standing (without incurring past due/delinquency) within the Promo Period and at the time of Offer crediting. Cardholder further acknowledges that should he/she fail to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions and Mechanics of the Promo, he/she will not be eligible to avail of the Promo.

  4. In case of dispute but not limited to the Cardholder's eligibility, coverage of dates and fulfillment, BDO's decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder's eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.

  5. In case of any question about any of the provisions of this Promo, the interpretation of BDO shall prevail, with the concurrence of DTI.

  6. Terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips, and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo.
