Promo Mechanics:

  1. The promo is open to all Principal and Supplementary credit cardholders of BDO JCB Credit Card (BDO JCB Lucky Cat, JCB Gold and JCB Platinum Credit Card).

  2. Promo period is from March 20 to June 15, 2020. Promo extended until July 31, 2020 as approved by DTI-FTEB.

  3. To participate:

    1. Cardholder must enroll from March 20 to August 1, 2020 by indicating the Promo ID sent by BDO via Viber/SMS. Click here to enroll.
      Cardholder’s contact information must be updated to continue receiving card promotions/advisories. In case cardholder did not receive the promo ID via SMS/Viber, cardholder may call the BDO Customer Contact Center at (02)86318000 to get his/her assigned promo ID.
      Cardholder only need to enroll once within the prescribed Enrollment Period. Complete and accurate information must be provided. Otherwise, incomplete, insufficient or wrong information will invalidate the enrollment and will not be processed.

    2. The Principal Credit Card is treated separately from the Supplementary Credit Card. Thus, both the Principal and Supplementary Cardholder/s are required to enroll to qualify for the promo. As such, enrollment of the Principal Cardholder does not equate to the enrollment of the Supplementary Cardholder/s, and vice versa.   

  4. To earn a rebate, cardholder must use the qualified BDO JCB Credit Card within the promo period in local restaurants, retail shops and department stores for a minimum single-receipt spend requirement as indicated on the table below.

  5. All posted or billed local straight and installment purchases in local restaurants, retail shops and department stores are qualified for this promo excluding the following transactions:

    • Online / MOTO transactions

    • Overseas transactions

    • Transactions from Casino or from merchants engaged in Gambling

    • BDO Internal Installment Programs such as Balance Transfer, EasyPay Cash and Cash-It-Easy

  6. All qualified local purchases in restaurants, retail shops and department stores shall earn the corresponding rebate indicated on the table below. The maximum Rebate can be earned per qualified BDO JCB Credit Card (Principal and Supplementary Credit Card accounts are treated separately) is P10,000.

  7. Transactions of Principal and Supplementary cardholder are computed separately for earning of rebates which will be posted to the Principal Cardholder's account within 25 banking days after the promo. This will be shown on the Cardholder's billing statement.

  8. BDO has the sole discretion to determine whether a transaction is classified under Dining, Retail Shop and Department Store category. BDO is dependent on the merchant category classifications assigned by its Acquiring bank on each merchant establishment to be able to identify qualified transactions.

  9. All BDO installment transactions are subject to bank approval. The entire installment amount shall be deducted from the Cardholder’s available credit limit.

  10. BDO JCB Credit Card must be active and of good credit standing at the time of crediting of the rebate, otherwise, the rebate earned shall be forfeited.

  11. The promo cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promotional offers of BDO. Transactions that were already used to redeem treats or rebate or points multiplier from other BDO promotions (e.g. SM 3-Day Sale, Shop.Choose.Redeem, Credit Card Activation Programs, etc.), can no longer be used to avail of the promo and vice versa.

  12. Rebates awarded are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash, however, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the Card.

  13. Rebates earned will be forfeited if the BDO JCB Credit Card has been cancelled or converted to another BDO Credit Card or has been found to be delinquent.

  14. Cardholder must examine their SOA for any error/s related to the Promo (e.g. rebate computation, awarding of rebate). All questions and issues from the promo will be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days from crediting of rebate, after which the promotion is considered conclusive.

  15. BDO reserves the right to reverse the rebate awarded to the Principal and Supplementary Cardholder in the event that the qualifying transactions were cancelled at a later date or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions.

  16. In case of dispute, in respect of but not limited to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, transaction qualification, fulfillment, BDO’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder's eligibility for the promotion shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.

  17. The promo is subject to the General Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards.
