Promo Mechanics:

  1. The promo is open to all Principal and Supplementary Credit Cardholders of BDO JCB Credit Card (BDO JCB Lucky Cat, JCB Gold and JCB Platinum Credit Card).

  2. Promo period is from May 15 to August 15, 2020.

  3. To qualify, cardholder must:

    1. Enroll using the PROMO ID sent by BDO via Viber/SMS from May 15 to August 16, 2020. Click here to enroll.

    2. Use his/her Qualified BDO JCB Credit Card within the Promo Period by purchasing/transacting Online (straight or installment) for a minimum single-receipt of P3,000.

  4. All qualified online purchases shall earn 7% rebate. The maximum Rebate can be earned per qualified BDO JCB Credit Card (Principal and Supplementary Credit Card accounts are treated separately) is P5,000.

  5. All purchases must come from (1) one BDO JCB Credit Card only. In computing for the total Spend Amount, the Principal Cardholder is not allowed to combine his/her purchases with the purchases of his/her Supplementary Cardholder/s (if any).

  6. Promo is valid exclusively for transactions made Online.

  7. Submission of incomplete/wrong PROMO ID will not be processed.

  8. Cardholders only need to enroll once within the prescribed Enrollment Period. The Principal Credit Card is treated separately from the Supplementary Credit Card. Thus, both the Principal and Supplementary Cardholder/s are required to enroll to qualify for the promo. As such, registration of the Principal Cardholder does not equate to the registration of the Supplementary Cardholder/s, and vice versa.

  9. Rebates earned shall be credited to the Principal Cardholder’s account within twenty-five (25) banking days after the promo period. This will be shown on the Cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA).

  10. The promo cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promos (ie. JCB Spend Overseas) and is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of the BDO Credit Cards. Transactions that were already used to redeem treats (ie. Shop. Choose. Redeem, etc.), rebate (Overseas, airline rebate promo) or bonus miles/points from other BDO promos can no longer be used to avail of this promo and vice versa.


General Terms & Conditions:

  1. Cardholder’s contact information must be updated to continue receiving card promotions/advisories. In case Cardholder did not receive the Promo ID via SMS/Viber, Cardholder may call the BDO Customer Contact Center at (02)86318000 to get his/her assigned Promo ID.

  2. Cardholder must examine their SOA for any error/s related to the Promo (e.g. rebate computation, awarding of rebate). All questions and issues from the promo will be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days from crediting of rebate, after which the promotion is considered conclusive.

  3. BDO JCB Credit Card must be active and of good credit standing at the time of crediting of the rebate, otherwise, the rebate earned shall be forfeited.

  4. Rebates awarded are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash, however, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the BDO JCB Credit Card.

  5. Double Redemption, Cancellation of qualified purchase and Fraudulent transaction/s:

    1. Rebate cannot be redeemed in conjunction with other promotional offers of BDO. A Cardholder’s purchase that has been used to redeem the rebate may no longer be used to avail of another BDO Promo such as but not limited to (1) Shop. Choose. Redeem. (2) Other Rebate Promos and the like or vice versa. If found to have double/multiple redemptions, BDO reserves the right to charge-back the full cost of the Rebate to the corresponding account, at BDO’s discretion.

    2. Similarly, if the transaction is cancelled/reversed or found to be invalid or fraudulent at a later date, BDO will charge-back the Rebate credited to his/her Card or directly collect the cost from the Cardholder.

  6. In case of dispute, in respect of but not limited to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, transaction qualification, fulfillment, BDO’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder's eligibility for the promotion shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.

  7. BDO reserves the right to reverse the Cash Rebate awarded to the Principal and Supplementary Cardholder in the event that the qualifying transactions were cancelled at a later date or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transaction.
