Promo Mechanics:

  1. The Promotion is open only to BDO Visa Classic Principal Credit Cardholders who have been SELECTED and notified of the promo via Viber/SMS or Electronic Direct Mailer (EDM).

  2. The Promo Period is July 15 to October 15, 2020.

  3. To qualify for the promo and earn the cash rebate:

    1. The Principal Cardholder must ENROLL ONLINE through the promo web page, from July 15 to December 15,2020 and indicate the Promo ID that was sent by BDO via viber message, SMS, or electronic direct mail.

      The Principal Cardholder must provide complete and accurate information. Otherwise incomplete, insufficient or wrong information will invalidate the enrollment and will not be processed. Only the Principal Cardholder is qualified to enroll to the Promo.

      Enrollment of the Principal Cardholder (considered as one “Account”) automatically enrolls his/her corresponding supplementary account/s and BDO Virtual Card, if any.

    2. The Principal Cardholder must use his/her BDO Visa Classic Credit Card for ANY purchase (straight, installment, local, overseas or online/MOTO ) from July 15 to October 15, 2020 and reach the spend requirement (single or accumulated) below:

      NOTE:  *For cumulative spend, no minimum amount per transaction is required.

  4. In computing for the total spend amount, the qualified Principal Cardholder may combine his/her purchases with the purchases made with his/her Supplementary Cardholder/s (if any). The spend made from BDO Virtual Cards is also qualified and will be considered in the computation of the total cash rebate to be awarded to the participating Principal Cardholder's BDO Credit Card account. It is the responsibility of the Principal Cardholder to monitor his/her qualified spend.

    Sample Computation
    Once a Principal Cardholder successfully enrolls in the promo, all his/her Supplementary and BDO Virtual Cards will be automatically enrolled.

  5. For installment purchases, the Principal/base Amount will be included in the computation of spend.

  6. The following transactions are qualified for this promotion:

    • Local Retail Transactions (Straight or Installment)

    • Foreign Currency Purchases (qualified spend is based on the actual Peso or Dollar value posted on the account/billing statement)

    • Online or Internet Transactions

    • Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO)

  7. The following transactions are EXCLUDED from this promotion:

    1. Local/International Cash Advances made via ATM or over-the-counter;

    2. Any type of Bills Payment (Auto-charge, Charge-On-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments, etc.)

    3. Transactions from casinos or from merchants engaged in gambling;   

    4. Transactions from stock trading, forex trading, financial trading services, remittance, and the like

    5. BDO Internal Installment Programs such as Balance Transfer, Easy Pay Cash, and Cash-It-Easy

  8. The Principal Cardholder is entitled to a ONE-TIME AWARDING of the cash rebate regardless if he/she has more than one qualified Card.

  9. The qualified spend is based on the actual Peso or Dollar value posted on the account/billing statement. For Principal Cardholders enrolled in the Dual Currency feature, transactions made in Dollar or other currencies will be converted to Peso based on the prevailing foreign exchange rate. The amount will then be added to the total qualified Peso transactions to determine the total spend.

  10. The cash rebate will be posted in Philippine Peso regardless if the Principal card account is enrolled in the Dual Currency feature.

  11. All cash rebates, including those from the qualified purchases of the Supplementary account/s, will be posted to the Principal Cardholder's account.

  12. The Principal Cardholder’s account must be active, and without any past due obligation from the start of the promo until the scheduled awarding of the cash rebate. For cards with dual currency, delinquency of one currency affects the other and therefore will no longer be eligible for the Promotion.

  13. For cardholders who met the spend requirement, the cash rebate will be credited to the Principal Cardholder's account with the transaction description: 2020 VISA SPECIAL REBATE OFFER. BDO will notify the Principal Cardholder through an SMS message, which will be sent to the Principal Cardholder’s registered mobile number based on the schedule below:

    Note: The first scheduled awarding of cash rebate is for those cardholders who reached the highest spend tier only.

  1. Principal Cardholders who enrolled to this promo but did not meet the spend requirement or not qualified for the promo shall likewise be notified by BDO through an SMS message at the end of the enrollment period, provided that the Promo ID indicated that was used to enroll to the promo is correct.
  2. Cardholder must ensure that his/her registered mobile number with BDO is updated and accurate. BDO will not be responsible for non-receipt of notification due to incorrect contact details.

  3. Cash rebates earned will be forfeited if the BDO Visa Classic Credit Card has been cancelled or converted to another BDO Credit Card or has been found to be delinquent.

  4. BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the cash rebate previously posted if the qualifying spend is disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or if there is erroneous posting of the cash rebate, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another on-going BDO Credit Card promo.

  5. The transaction/s of a Cardholder successfully enrolled in this Promotion may no longer be used in any other on-going BDO Credit Card Promo

  6. The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing BDO promotions (e.g. Shop. Choose. Redeem, Other Rebates and Points Multiplier Promos, etc.) and is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of the BDO Credit Cards

  7. Cardholders must examine their Statement of Account for any errors related to the Promo (e.g. rebate computation, non-awarding of rebate). All questions and issues arising from the promo will only be accepted, within sixty (60) calendar days from posting of the cash rebate, after which the promotion is considered conclusive.

  8. Cash Rebates awarded are non-transferable and nonconvertible to cash. However, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases of any outstanding balance on the Card.

  9. In case of dispute in respect of but not limited to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, fulfillment, etc. BDO’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with concurrence of DTI.
