Termination of BDO Japan Equity Index Feeder Fund
Dear Valued Investor,
We would like to inform you that the BDO Board of Directors, in its meeting held last 18 April 2023, has approved the termination of BDO Japan Equity Index Feeder Fund (the “Fund”).
In line with this, we highly recommend that you redeem your investments in JEIFF on or before 30 June 2023. The Fund’s termination provides you an opportune time to realize the gains from your investment in the Fund, with its NAVPU near its all-time high since inception. Consequently, you will be able to reinvest the proceeds of your redemption to other investment outlets which may provide you potentially better returns over the long term.
As alternative investments to the Fund, you may want to consider converting your redemption proceeds into US Dollars (USD) and invest in the BDO Dollar Money Market Fund, which invests in USD time deposits and is ideal for keeping your USD in a low volatile investment outlet or the BDO Global Equity Index Feeder Fund, which invests in stocks that are traded in developed markets.
