Advisory on Instapay and Non-BDO Withdrawal Concerns

Unsuccessful Instapay

 

In instances wherein an account was debited after a failed Instapay transaction, affected clients need not call the Bank to report such cases as funds will be posted, either to the sending or receiving bank within three (3 ) banking days, after reconciliation.

 

While waiting for the refund, BDO is strongly encouraging its clients to avoid posting or discussing the case on their social media channels to protect themselves and their accounts from scammers who are on the lookout for potential victims.

 

Non-BDO ATM Dispense Error

 

In situations where money withdrawn from a non-BDO ATM was not dispensed yet debited from the client’s account, clients are advised to immediately call the BDO Customer Contact Center at 8631-8000 and report the case.

 

BDO will then provide the client a case ID number and expected turnaround time on the resolution of the case, after the validation of the transaction with the Bank that owns the ATM has been completed. Client will then receive an update from BDO via SMS.
