Generali Pilipinas, in partnership with Banco de Oro, has extended its raffle promo titled, "Drive On Motor Secure."
The "Drive On Motor Secure" raffle promo also marks the beginning of another phase of Generali's Disaster Preparedness Advocacy Campaign focusing on Road Safety.
From July 15 to March 31, 2007, every Generali Pilipinas (GP) Motor Secure application received and fully paid within 30 days from date of submission entitles customers to a raffle coupon.
Customers have a chance to win a grand prize of a brand new Honda Civic 1.8V (Manual transmission) with free motor insurance for 1 year, LTO registration for 3 years, and rust proofing; or a 2nd prize of P45,000 worth of gift certificates on wheels and tires from DubShop Inc.; or a 3rd prize of Sony car audio package (Sony stereo, rear speaker, front speaker with Php20,000) or 8 BDO Cash Cards worth P2,500 each.
Customers can request for a GP Motor Secure quotation from the GP Financial Advisor stationed at any Banco de Oro (BDO) branch nationwide. In order for vehicle to be quoted and insured with GP Motor Secure, customer has to present any of the following: Certificate of vehicle registration; Old motor car insurance policy; or Sales invoice of vehicle. Upon full payment, customer will receive a GP key chain for free.
Generali Pilipinas Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing Augustus J.V. Ferreria said, "GP Motor Secure insurance premium can be as low as Php3,500, depending on the car model, make and year."
Only privately-used vehicles, whether by an individual or a corporation, maximum of ten (10) years old (i.e., models from 1996 up to present) are qualified in the raffle promo. Fleet accounts, which are defined as GP Motor Secure clients with ten (10) or more vehicles, are not included in the promo. A GP Motor Secure client can be an individual or an institution, is allowed only up to a maximum of nine (9) raffle entries.
In May 2007, winners will be drawn and notified via phone call by an authorized GP representative and via registered mail. Winners' names will be posted in all BDO branches nationwide and published in broadsheet with general circulation.

The first phase of Generali Pilipinas' campaign was recently launched last October 2006 in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross, the Muntinlupa local government, Center for Disaster Preparedness and NGO-UP SIBOL, targeting home safety for the community of the Ayala Alabang Village. Ongoing activities are being planned for implementation to train homeowners on how to be prepared for typhoons and earthquakes.
The Road Safety Campaign, meanwhile, will be pursued in Makati City by targeting busy roads within school vicinities.
