Mobile Banking

Save time with round-the-clock access to your accounts using your SMART GSM mobile phone. Once your Savings/Checking accounts or Cash Cards are enrolled in BDO Retail Internet Banking and BDO Phone Banking, you automatically enjoy the convenience of BDO Mobile Banking.

With BDO Mobile Banking (MB) you may:

  • Inquire Savings or Checking balances.
  • Transfer funds from one Checking/Savings account to another
  • Purchase SMART prepaid load.
  • Reload an enrolled SMART Money account.
  • Change MPIN.

Eligibility

  • BDO accountholders with at least one enrolled Current or Savings Account (Peso accounts only) in BDO Retail Internet Banking (RIB)
  • Must be at least 13 years of age
  • Must be a SMART GSM subscriber

How to Enroll

Via online

  • Go to https://www.mybdo.com.ph or http://www.bdo.com.ph
  • Accomplish online enrollment form (make sure to put a tick mark on Mobile Banking checkbox).
  • Nominate user ID and password, phonebanking number, TPIN*, mobile no., and challenge question & answer.
  • Click ‘SEND TO BANK’ button.
  • Print online enrollment form, sign and submit to any BDO branch/EBU, within 30 banking days for validation and approval.

* Your TPIN will also serve as your MPIN for Mobile Banking.

Via BDO Retail Internet Banking (for existing enrollees)

  • Log-in to BDO RIB with existing user ID and password.
  • Put a tick mark on Mobile Banking check box.
  • Enter the 10-digit mobile number.

* If you are not enrolled to Phone Banking (PB), RIB will prompt you to enroll in PB.

Activation (Click to view procedure)

  • Activation of Mobile Banking service is User-Initiated.
  • User to activate Bank (BDO) in his/her cellphone under Mobile Banking Services Menu.

Security Features
Customer is prompted to enter his/her 6-digit MPIN for ALL Mobile Banking Transactions.

Available Transactions:

  • Activate Bank (Click to view procedure)
  • Balance Inquiry (Click to view procedure)
    • Inquire balances of enrolled accounts (individual or all).
    • Accounts should all be enrolled in RIB.
  • Fund Transfer (Click to view procedure)
    • CASA Fund Transfer (Click to view procedure)
    • Source Account: CASA
    • Destination Account: CASA
    • Transfer to 3rd party accounts are not allowed.
    • Daily Limit: up to account’s available balance for source account/s; up to account’s limit for destination account/s.
    • All transactions are processed immediately and account is debited real-time.
  • Reload Prepaid/Airtime (Click to view procedure)
    • Source Account: CASA
    • Enrollment of prepaid mobile numbers is not required.
    • Prepaid mobile reload depends on source accounts’ available balance/s and available load denominations.
  • SMART Money Reload (Click to view procedure)
    • Source Account: CASA
    • Destination Account: SMART Money card.
    • SMART Money card number should be linked to mobile number.
    • All transactions are processed immediately and account is debited real-time.

    * User should go to SMART Money in the menu.

  • Change MPIN (Click to view procedure) – APPENDIX I
    • Change to any nominated 6-digit MPIN.
    • No maximum number of MPIN change/day.
    • PIN tries – User is blocked on the 4th MPIN retry, with daily reset of MPIN.
